Spring Break 2013: Corpus Christi

Top: Forever 21; Pants: Forever 21; Sandals: Forever 21; Earrings:Target; Cardigan: Burlington's; Lipstick: Hot Plum by Maybelline

Sorry I didn't post last week but my kids were on spring break and we enjoyed ourselves. My husband surprised us with a mini vacation to Corpus Christi. It is a small town outside of Houston, about four hours away by the beach. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on the beach. Yes, our hotel was on the beach. We could see the beach from our window. The restaurants that we dined at were also on the beach and to eat while looking at the calming water was out of this world. We were able to take the kids to the Texas State Aquarium were we enjoyed a dolphin show. By the way I love dolphins, I have one on my back! Don't judge me!!! What also made this experience so beautiful was the awesome weather. It was sunny with a cool breeze. It doesn't get any better than spending time with your family and traveling the world. I thank God for the opportunities coming our way!

You can feel my excitement because my prayers are being answered. I love to travel. I use to travel a lot while playing sports in high school and college. My desire is now for my family and I to experience the world together. Corpus is a small beginning but we embrace the small beginnings because we know the best is yet to come. God has made a way for us to travel now and right now its Corpus Christi but in due season we will be traveling to Disney World. We believe it and we are standing on the promises of God. Dont look at your current circumstances now but TRUST God because He knows your FUTURE. Your FUTURE is bright!

Memories like these are PRICELESS!!!

  1. Aww! Great things, start small! I really like the way you styled your hair and how it 'falls' on your face.

I also like the neon pops of color in your outfit. Your pants look so comfy... I'm sure they are! :)
